Well hello, beautiful people!

I’m entering this birthday month with a happy heart and a huge sense of gratitude for the village that has raised me while I raise my girls.

Raising the future is a massive responsibility, and I’ve always been a fan of the dual purpose cleaner life because, frankly, who has the mental energy for 20 different bottles? I created these non toxic cleaners for my own family first, and am so grateful I get to share them with you. In honor of Mother’s Day, I’m sharing some digital “momma hugs” for the women who anchor us, teach us, and love us. Let’s celebrate the messy, sticky, beautiful reality of motherhood together!

Whether we are navigating how to educate our children, what is healthy for our family, or just trying to simplify the home chaos with things like plant based dual purpose cleaners, we are all students of this momma life. (Yup, we are never really done learning, are we? Ha!) I’m so grateful for the momma village that has helped me grow, and I’m honored to be a part of yours as we learn, mess up, and try again together.

So, let’s celebrate the happy chaos together!

This May blog we’re talking;

  • Dual Purpose Cleaners: I don’t have time for 50 different cleaners, and I bet you don’t either. I’m sharing how I use dual purpose non toxic cleaners for everything from the kitchen to the glass.
  • The Momma Essentials (aka Bundles): I’m obsessed with our new plant based cleaning bundles right now because they save money and space. I’ll show you which ones are my go to’s for a busy house!
  • The Magic of Mommas 🌈: As a momma, it can be hard to remind myself that I am important, loved, or even doing enough. So I  designed some free rainbow screensavers for your phone for this mother’s day, save them for yourself, or share them with some momma figures in your life!
  • Birthday Talk as a Momma: A heart to heart on why I deflect the spotlight and why I’m setting a “selfish” goal to make myself smile more this birthday month.

1. Dual Purpose Cleaners

Dual Purpose Cleaners | Momma Jane's Cleaner

When you’re managing the “heavy” days or just the “happy chaos” of a busy household, a 10 step cleaning process feels like a mountain you can’t climb. I’ve always been a fan of the dual purpose cleaners life because, frankly, who has the mental energy to store 12 bottles under the sink? Or plan for hours of scrubbing and waiting?

I realized a long time ago that we don’t need a different bottle for every single task; we need a solution that adapts to the mess of the moment. I love that Momma Jane’s Cleaners aren’t just bottles on a counter; they are dual purpose cleaners providing solutions for the real, sticky, lived in moments of our lives. Made from only plants, these non toxic concentrated cleaners are plant based,  and ready to help.

I’ll use the Resin or  Sticky Cleaner to get that tacky feeling off my fingers after I’ve been grinding some herbs or cleaning with resin, and then without missing a beat, use that same bottle to spot clean a Sharpie “autograph” on a water bottle left behind by someone. When we simplify our cleaners and lean on plant based dual purpose cleaners, we aren’t just cleaning a surface; we are clearing the mental clutter that keeps us from being present. Plus the smell of this non toxic cleaner, has been know to change a few moods in our house hold.

Here is a list of how I love to use Momma Jane’s Cleaner in my house!

It’s about making the functional parts of our lives (like cleaning) feel less like a burden and more like a quick reset.

2. The Momma Essentials ( aka Bundles)

Let’s talk about that “HOUSE CEO” brain for a second. You know that feeling when you finally get the motivation to tackle a dirty or sticky mess, only to realize you’re down to the last two drops in your Momma Jane’s bottle? It’s a tiny thing, but when you’re already juggling a lot, it can feel like the final straw.

That’s exactly why I’ve become so intentional about our Bundles and Refill system. To me, a refill bottle isn’t just “more cleaner” it’s a favor I’m doing for my future self. It’s one less thing on the grocery list, one less shipping label to track, and a whole lot less clutter under the sink. We don’t need a cabinet full of a dozen different chemicals; we need dual purpose, non toxic, plant based cleaners that actually work and stay stocked up.

I’m really obsessed with our new bundles because they are the ultimate “easy button” for a busy house. Here’s exactly what you’ll find inside and how I use them to stay ahead of the chaos:

  • The Forever Bundle: Momma Jane's Cleaner | Cleaning Bundles This is the ultimate “Future Me” favor. It’s designed for the high traffic homes where someone is always spilling something (raising my hand over here!). This bundle includes:
    • The Goods: 4 fl oz Sticky Dropper + 8 oz Refill + All-Purpose Cleaner + All-Purpose Refill + Towel.
    • Practicality Check: It’s eco friendly and ensures that you never hit that “last two drops” moment right when you need it most. It’s months of peace of mind tucked right under your sink.
  • The Daily Resin Deal Bundle:This one was born from my love of the “Dual Purpose” life and is perfect for the momma who finds herself
  • Momma Jane's Cleaner | Cleaning Bundlesin sticky situations more often than not. This bundle features:
    • The Goods: 2 oz Resin Dropper + 4 oz Refill + 8 oz Refill.
    • Practicality Check: This is a total lifesaver if you find yourself cleaning cannabis resin or rosin. It ensures you have TWO refills ready to go, so you can clean your favorite glass piece, immediately tackle the sticky residue left on the coffee table, and then have plenty left. It’s about keeping your tools and your sanctuary spotless without the stress.

Whether you’re grabbing the Forever Bundle or the Daily Resin Deal Bundle, you’re choosing a reliable win in a world that can feel unpredictable. It’s about making an intentional choice today so that “Future You” can breathe a little easier tomorrow. When our homes are simplified, our minds are clearer, and we can get back to the things that actually matter, like laughing with our kiddos or finally drinking that coffee while it’s actually hot.

3. The Magic of Mommas 🌈

Momma Hug | Mothers Day Card | Blog Post | Momma Jane's Cleaner

Since it’s Mother’s Day, I’m leaning into the art of celebrating not just for me, but for the incredible women who keep my world spinning. We all have those “momma souls” in our lives, don’t we? The ones who pour love, magic, and fire into us; sometimes by just being themselves.

If I’m being honest, there are entire chapters of my life that are a complete blur. I remember the feeling of having three daughters under the age of three, the exhaustion that goes down to your bones and the constant “Momma Whirlwind” that never seemed to stop. I don’t remember every diaper change or every sleepless night, but I know exactly how I made it through: I was carried.

I made it because of the ladies who didn’t just ask “how are you?” but looked me in the eyes and reminded me that I was strong enough to handle the hard days. I made it because of the friends who dragged me out of the house and reminded me that I was still me, a woman with dreams, a sense of humor, and a life outside of just being a momma.

I especially made it because of the people who didn’t treat me differently just because I started my family so young. They were the ones who didn’t let me disappear into the background; they celebrated every bit of good news or birthday, and always showed up to my shindigs.

And then, there are the incredible ones who stayed when the party ended and life got heavy. The ones who didn’t back away from the tears or the messy parts of my story, but just listened with BIG hugs.

You see, these women are the anchors in our storms. They see the real momma behind the messy bun and the House CEO title and remind us that we are doing a phenomenal job. On Mother’s Day, they deserve to be celebrated for the quiet, fierce, and sometimes hilarious ways they show up every single day.

Because I’m so grateful for the village that has raised me while I am raising my girls, I’ve designed a collection of  Momma Hug graphics just for you and your village. They’re free to download and perfect to use as a phone screensaver or to text to a momma who needs a “digital hug” today or on Mother’s Day. Whether you don’t know the right words to say, or want to let someone know how much they make a difference in your motherhood,  there is something here for every kind of momma.

Grab one for yourself, and send one to the women who are or have been  your anchors. Let’s make sure no one in our village forgets how vital they are this month.

Lets also be a little reminder so make or snag a mothers day card for those mommas in our lives. Need some ideas of what to write in the card? The card company, Minted, has some great ideas for all the momma souls in your life.

4. The Birthday Month Mindset

I’m going to be 100% honest with you: even though it’s my birthday month, the idea of the “spotlight” being on me makes me want to itch.

Whenever the attention shifts my way, I feel myself turning into this quirky, goofy version of Amanda. I start cracking jokes, I’m probably making a weird face, and I’m definitely moving. Why? Because if I’m keeping you laughing and making sure you & your family are having a good time, then I don’t have to actually sit with the fact that day may be about me.

So, this birthday month, I am giving myself permission to celebrate, guilt free. I’m going to pick a favorite restaurant (where I don’t have to worry if the restaurant is anyone else’s favorite), choose an activity I really love, and for a full 24 hours of this birthday, I’m going to let go of the pressure to manage everyone else’s happiness.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit this isn’t going to be easy, and I still want to hear my family laughing beside me, but this year, I want to focus on being apart of the celebration instead of just the one orchestrating the magic behind the scenes. I want to make myself sit in the joy, not just focus creating it.

But I’m curious how do you handle your big day? Are you a “Birthday Month” kind of person who stretches the celebration out as long as possible? Or are you more of a “Low Key” momma who just wants a quiet house and a nap? Maybe you have traditions that include a specific cake, a solo trip to the bookstore, or a fancy dinner where someone else does the dishes.

I’d love to hear your favorite ways to celebrate yourself! Does it feel hard for you to pass over the “House CEO” baton and just be the guest of honor?

Comment below and tell me your birthday non negotiable or favorites, I’m looking for all the inspiration this month!
