If I’m being completely honest, these past few months have felt a little crazy. Trying to build a small business around sticky plant based cleaners have me questioning seriously everything. I have never built or owned a business before and definitely didn’t study marketing or advertising, but I do know one thing for sure; I want to try to be a helping hand in your home the way a momma can.
As we step into October, I just wanted to pause and say a huge THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

I also want to be More Than Just Plant Based Cleaners
Like I mentioned before, I have been living with fear lately; Questioning what if it doesn’t work? What if I’m wasting our time and money? I’ve found myself repeating affirmations and positive quotes multiple times a day to myself. And where it landed me was recognizing that this whole journey is about so much more than just selling bottles of Momma Jane’s Cleaners.
To me, every box, every conversation, and every social media post is about finding more ways to lend a helping hand in your home, as if I’m right there beside you, making life a little simpler & cleaner, and bringing a smile to your face. Bringing safe ingredients and helpful cleaning tips to the table so our health and time don’t have to compromise.

Backyard Playground Chronicles
Over the summer, we finished a big project: building a backyard playground for our girls! Maybe you’ve seen it in our instagram stories.
I’m going to be completely honest, we had our doubts. For one; having all girls, we weren’t sure if they’d actually play on it to its full advantage. And two; what if we were approaching the age where they’d feel “too cool” for a playground. But to our surprise, it’s been a complete hit! Even our oldest who is 13 loves it and is out there at least once a day.
It had been in the talks to make our own for a long time at any of our previous homes but we never had the space, nor set aside a budget for it. This summer we made it a priority and it payed off. It has become one of our family’s favorite ways to unwind at the end of the day and bond when a swing chat is needed. I’m sitting here in gratitude that we were able to save for this and actually make this dream come true. Hopefully, one day our grandkids will be running around on it, too! ❤️

One of Our Favorite Cleaner Tips
Here is one of my personal favorite ways to use our Momma Jane’s All Purpose Cleaner, and I am honestly obsessed:
- Windows & Glass Doors: If you need a reliable glass cleaner hack, try pairing our Momma Jane’s All Purpose Cleaner with (these towels from Amazon)! Your windows and glass doors will be so grateful. Just spray and wipe, it’s that easy!
- For the Shower: If you’re dealing with hard water stains, the secret is letting it do the work for you. The tougher the stain, the longer you let it soak. You can also dilute with vinegar and let the cleaner sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse and wipe off.
A quick reminder for my resin and cannabis peeps: 
When was the last time you cleaned your rolling trays? Remember how amazing it feels to set up on a squeaky clean, fresh tray to grind or roll? Trust me, Momma Jane’s Resin Cleaner will have your future self saying thank you!! It’s simple, it smells incredible, and your sticky problems will be long gone!

Using green cleaning products can help to reduce the human health and environmental concerns that comes along with cleaning.”

What you are doing is enough.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the holiday noise, the elaborate traditions, and the pressure to buy, buy, buy. Trust me I have fallen into this way too many times. But when it comes to making memories, less really is best. Please don’t put yourself or your family into a stressful or financial situation trying to create a “picture perfect” holiday.
Don’t compare your season to anyone else’s highlight reel, we don’t know what’s really going on behind all the good they are sharing.
Just be present with the people you love and have; that presence is the absolute best gift you can give. And you are the perfect one for the job.
